(1912-1974)

Henry Rosengren Hansen (1912–1974) was a Danish furniture designer active during the golden age of Scandinavian Modernism. His work combines the functional clarity of Danish design with the precision of traditional cabinetmaking.

Best known for his collaboration with Brande Møbelindustri, Hansen created refined furniture in teak and rosewood, distinguished by balanced proportions, sculpted handles, elegant joinery, and carefully integrated structural details. Today, his work is increasingly valued by collectors for its understated character, exceptional craftsmanship, and enduring expression of mid-century Danish design.
